Zoe used to be worried about going under the water.  Just look at her now!  We're so proud of you, Zoe.

With the lovely weather we have been having, we have taken the opportunity to get outside each day, as we train for the cross-country to come.  One afternoon it was just too hot in the classroom so we headed outdoors with our reading and free-writing books.

We have been practising what to do in an earthquake.  When we are inside we get under a table and hold on to the leg.  When we are outside we become turtles and cover our heads with our hands.  We wrote about the book, 'Quaky Cat'.

Tadpoles!

Last week Leanne brought in these 3 not-so-little tadpoles.  We are going to watch them grow into frogs right here in Room 16.  Stay tuned...
