Interschool Swimming

Today Nicole, Laila and Callum, along with other Year 4 - 6 students, represented Trentham School in the Upper Hutt Interschool swimming competition.  We had a great day. Well done to you all.

Financial Literacy

 

This week Vane from ASB came to talk to us about financial literacy.  We learned the difference between a bank card and a credit card and we talked about saving up for our wants while keeping enough for our needs. We always have a laugh when Vane comes each year but knowing the  difference between needs and wants and the importance of managing our money are very important life skills.

Hoop Time

We are learning basketball skills in Weeks 1 to 5. We are loving it and we hope to use some of the games we learned from Coach Brendon in our ongoing PE time.
