Pink Day

Thanks to everyone who supported Pink Day and brought a coin for Breast Cancer research. We were looking very pink at singing this morning.

Athletics Day

Welcome back to Term 4.  On Friday we held our school-wide Athletics Day.  We got in to our Whanau teams and spent the day competing in athletics events such as Sprints, Hurdles, shotput, Vortex (javelin throw), Coit throwing (discus throw), long jump and scissor kick (high jump).  At the end of the day we gathered to watch the seniors' finals in sprints and the Whanau teams relay, which Kauri just managed to take out.  There was a lot of noise while our teams were racing, as we had all been practising our team chants and we were cheering our teams home.  Then there was a fun relay between the teachers and senior boys and girls.  Mr McLeod helped the teachers into the lead in the final lap.

Circus Day

What fun we all had on Circus Day.  Thanks to Mrs Adams and the Kaiarahi for organising the day for us, and to all of the teachers for running it.

Shapes In Room 16

We have been learning about shapes. We know that shapes can be sorted by how many sidesoredges they have.
