Next term we are going to the mobile library bus on Friday of Weeks 3, 6 and 9. A form is coming home to sign for those wanting to take out books. Even if you belong to Upper Hutt Library you will need to complete a form.

Sailor the Puffer Fish
On Monday we saw a show called Sailor the Puffer Fish. It was all about what happens to our bronchial tubes when we get asthma, the things that trigger asthma and how we can help our friends if they have asthma. It was both fun and informative.
Dojo Reward
We can earn Dojo points in class by working together, listening to others and staying on task. Yesterday we celebrated getting to 1000 class points by making and decorating cookies. Thanks to those who contributed to the decorations. Hope everyone enjoyed their afternoon tea!
Cultural Art
This term we have been working on art from our New Zealand culture. It looks great and you can view it on the hallway wall of the admin block, close to the staff room door.

Cross Country
Yesterday we had our Cross Country races. It was perfect weather and we all enjoyed trying our hardest to run all the way. 7 of our Room 3 students came home in the top ten so they are invited to the interschool cross country races in a few weeks. Well done to everyone on a great effort.
